The Covid certificate for convalescents can be issued under the following conditions:

  • The test was performed within the last 180 days (day of sampling collection).
  • You tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 with a PCR test or a rapid antigen test.

The certificate is issued by the confederation here.

You cannot get a COVID certificate to certify recovery from COVID based on a positive antibody test or self-test.

Vaccinated in Switzerland

This certificate can be requested by people vaccinated in Swizerland:

  • Fully vaccinated with 2 dosis (or 3 dosis)
  • Fully vaccinated with 1 dosis (or 2 dosis) and an anterior proved infection
  • Booster vaccination

Tested negative

Persons who have been tested negative by means of a PCR test or a rapid antigen test can request this certificate. They are delivered by laboratories, testing centers and pharmacies concerned.

This certificate is valid for 24h for a rapid antigen test and 72h for a PCR test.

No certificates will be delivered for self-tests.
